About
Built by a parent, for parents.
Ausome Resources Online is a plain-language resource library on autism and ADHD — compiled from books, research papers, lecture materials, and clinical resources, then rewritten so a tired parent can actually use it.
The content principles:
- Plain language. If a medical term is needed, it gets explained in the same sentence.
- Evidence-honest. Every therapy page states where the evidence stands — and where the community disagrees, both perspectives are presented.
- Synthesized, not transcribed. Knowledge is summarized in our own words with attribution; original source texts are not republished.
- Not medical advice. This site is informational. Treatment decisions belong with qualified professionals.
Every page cites its sources, and pages that rest on thin or contested material say so plainly — marked as “starting point” or “contested” rather than blending in.
Have a correction, a resource to suggest, or feedback? The site is growing guide by guide — see what's in the library to see the source material so far.
